Commercial Automotive Service Advisor / Writer
Salary Range Up to $50,000 Based on Experience

TruckMax in Fort Pierce, FL is a fast-paced, expanding company in South Florida. We are looking for someone with a good attitude that can bring a smile to the customer's face dealing with high pressure. We have multiple franchises and are looking for a Service Advisor / Writer to join our Service team.
TruckMax is proud to have been Florida’s premier destination for commercial truck sales for over 25 years. We specialize in Isuzu, Hino, Mitsubishi, Cummins and Volvo trucks. We have locations in Homestead, Naples, Miami, & Ft Pierce, Florida.

Responsibilities – Service Advisor:
- Listen to customers’ complaints and description of symptoms; clarify description of problems; check vehicle maintenance records.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Generate service order estimates and quotes for customers based upon a menu of recommended services.
- Understand the technician's diagnosis and service recommendations.
- Explain cost, service process and time requirements to customers in detail.
- Establish completion expectations with the customer.
- Inform customer when vehicle is ready and customer concerns have been addressed.
- Interpret and clarify repair procedures with the customer.
- Document information about services performed or recommendations.
- Maintain satisfactory Customer Service scores as prescribed by the Manufacturer and Dealer.
- Conduct post-repair follow-up.
Qualifications/Requirements - Service Advisor:
- Previous Service Advisor experience required
- Familiarity with truck systems preferred
- CDK experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Professional personal appearance
- A 'People Person' with excellent communication skills
