As a technician with Andy Mohr Toyota, you’ll diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems—including brakes, engine, steering, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning—with precision and efficiency. You’ll also perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and multi-point inspections. Responsibilities – Automotive Main Line and Maintenance Technicians:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, heating and cooling, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and inspections
- Complete multi-point inspections and recommend needed services to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Use factory-approved diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and repairs performed
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs clearly and professionally to customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with dealership and OSHA safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with manufacturer changes and new technologies
Qualifications – Automotive Main Line and Maintenance Technicians:
- Prior automotive technician experience is required
- Experience with Toyota or other import brands such as Honda or Subaru is highly preferred; however, we welcome skilled technicians with experience across all manufacturers!
- ASE certifications are a HUGE PLUS
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to perform accurate repairs efficiently
- Ability to read and interpret factory repair manuals and procedures
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
