Responsibilities – Body Shop Painter:

• Assess and analyze damaged areas to prep for painting.
• Remove rust, fill cavities and dents to create an even surface.
• Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application.
• Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
• Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency
• Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
• Refinish
• Ensure finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements - Body Shop Painter:

• Current automotive body painting experience is required
• I-CAR certification is preferred but we will train
• Must be willing to participate in I-CAR and other training
• Dependable with a good work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
